Bio:Graduate of Boston University School of Law.  Awarded her JD Degree in 1970 following an undergraduate career, and an award of a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967.  Ms. Weisbord served as a law clerk to The Honorable James L. Stern, of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, followed by the position of law clerk to The Honorable Michael J. Eagan of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.  She was thereafter appointed to be an Assistant District Attorney under District Attorney (the late Senator), Arlen Specter, litigating major jury trials.  Thereafter, she became a senior trial attorney for the United States Department of Labor litigating matters in Federal District Court in a five state region pursuing multi-party complaints.  She was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for her litigation skills by the Secretary of Labor in March of 1978.  Thereafter, Mrs. Weisbord became House Counsel for Bell of Pennsylvania.  She entered into private practice in 1981 joining Richard A. Weisbord, Esquire, and creating the firm of Weisbord & Weisbord, P.C. Mrs. Weisbord has concentrated her practice in the areas of Social Security Disability and labor law, including gender, race, age and other forms of discrimination.  She has been a principal guest on the cable television show Today's Law answering questions in the area of Social Security Disability.  Mrs. Weisbord was Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Social Security Disability Committ
