Bio:Kathryn Ashley earned her Juris Doctor from American University's Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. in 2010. In 2007, Kathryn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Multinational Business Operations from Florida State University.During law school Kathryn spent a summer volunteering with youth living in poverty in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a student attorney in Washington College of Law's Women in the Law Clinic, she represented clients in family-related issues in D.C. Superior Court. After graduating from law school, Kathryn began her career at the United States Department of Energy working as a Freedom of Information Act Analyst in the Loan Programs Office. Kathryn was a member of the District of Columbia Bar from 2011 until 2013.Kathryn is a fourth generation Floridian and volunteers with the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association. She is a member of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers and both the Family Law Section and Young Lawyers' Division of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
