Ms. Hart received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to enrolling in law school, Ms. Hart gained professional and life experiences during her four years' employment as a legislative aide at the Minnesota Senate. She later worked for West Publishing Corp. in Eagan, Minnesota (now known as Thomson Reuters) in government relations and corporate communications. Ms. Hart received her Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law and was admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota in 2000. She was admitted to practice before the United States District Court in 2005. She has also successfully represented a client at the Minnesota Court of Appeals which resulted in a published case, Frank-Bretwisch v. Ryan, 741 N.W.2d 910 (Minn. App. 2007).
