Bio: Mr. Schoeneberger began his career with the prominent Chicago firm of Ross & Hardies in 1974 where he became a partner in 1981. He joined McGuireWoods as a partner when it merged with Ross & Hardies in 2003. Thereafter, he was a founding partner of the Chicago office of Dewey & LeBoeuf from 2005-2010. For 35 years, Mr. Schoeneberger has handled a wide variety of complex hearings and trials, including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret infringement actions in state courts in Illinois, Florida and Texas, and the Federal courts in Illinois, California, Delaware and Michigan, as well as the International Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. He also has handled several energy matters involving coal gasification and contested rights of energy companies in Illinois. Several of his trials have lasted more than two weeks.
