Does not hold to his word, falsely charges and drags everything out on purpose. I did know of his bad reputation beforehand unfortunately.

- No integrity; Unethical-Makes False Statements; It's all about his best interest: dragging it out and charging as much fees as he possibly can - - - 11/8/2014 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Do you have a lot of money to spend in court? Does he run in the social circles of some judges and other attorneys that may be involve with your case? Is the person you are going to court about or in defense of possess a softer personality (kind, good hearted, peace is worth more than the continual battle); and you do not care how much the attorney bashes, undermines and use unethical tactics, including, but not limited to bashing, beating down, reword statements reworded to the point of becoming false, wear them down through an expensive law suit and you have plenty of money and you don't care? Lee Veazey is for you. Oh, keep in mind you will be affected: your bill will continue to rise...he doesn't mind spending your money and charging you $$$$...; his abrasive, unyielding, demeaning, contentious and antagonistic approach in court will have an everlasting affect on your personal, social and perhaps professional life. It's never about your best interest...for example he will charge you $50,000 to fight a $30,000 lawsuit...and if you settle for $15,000...it costs you $65,000 and the possibility of alienation by others so he could say he won, even when you settle...his ego is larger than his stature. Fact is Mr Veazey is unethical? Has been untruthful in his pleadings, discussion with opposing attorneys. This behavior is inappropriate, unethical and trust me, not in your best interest, unless your characters are similar in nature. A victim? Get all the documentation and facts.
      - 8/30/2017 - Absolutely horrible attorney. Charged me numerous times for continuances, charged me w/o asking for conversations with opposing attorneys over and over. Said he would get other party to pay fees that he never did. Drug out a 2 month hearing to three years costing me over 30k in fees that another attorney had to clear up for me for $2800. - flag

This attorney was hired about 1 1/2 years ago to fight for full custody, reduce child support and also file contempt charges against the ex. The Contempt charges go to support alienation. There are police reports to back the case where the ex did not show for visitation. In addition to this there are phone records to show lack of contact with the children. Medical records are being with-held against Indiana parental guidelines, etc etc. There are to many examples to list and yet no contempt has been filed as agreed on in the initial meeting 1 1/2 years ago. A custody order has yet to be filed. Child support has increased! At one point unemployment AND retirement pension was being garnished at the same time illegally! Even the judge questioned why and how this happened and why nothing had been done to reverse this error! About the time this happens, Mr Veazey wants off of the case. It's also evident that he has a problem with fiduciary duty! It's a real problem when decisions are being made between two attorneys whom know one another, WITHOUT the clients input! There have been many discrepancies as to why we are going to court. We are told one thing and then get there to discover it's about something completely unrelated...and then get the bill for it! Often time, it was for continuances! 1 1/2 years later, I'm alienated from my children. A year ago when first asked where they want to live, they told the therapist they wanted to live with me. Today, over a year later and after months of alienation, its something different. This attorney did what he wanted and pressured me to go along with. When I resisted, he wanted to quit...more than once. This is not what an attorney is suppose to do. There is no communication. We have been mislead. The ex is the only one whom has come out ahead. My children and I have not. It's also concerning that this attorney told me that the judge spoke to my children to get their input on moving to another state with their mom. We were later told by the children that this in fact did not take place. They said they were only questioned by the attorneys and were not recorded. More than not, the attorneys kept us in a side room and away from the judge, to quietly do their own thing. Reckless. I am pursing all avenues. My ex is currently packing the moving van and no court documents have been signed, although this attorney says I agreed to it. It would never be that simple considering how I have been alienated and how legal documents have been ignored/broken, visitation ignored, etc. Think twice on this one!
