Bio:Madeline Ahlgren received a B.A. in Political Science and Asian Studies from Rutgers University, along with a certificate of proficiency in French, in 1990 and her J.D. from Louisiana State University in 2007. Ms. Ahlgren is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, and the Federal District Courts for the Middle, Eastern, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Ahlgren has represented large commercial real estate developers with wetlands permitting, mitigation and enforcement issues. Her practice additionally involves permitting for waste disposal facilities as well as representing clients in the aluminum, chemical, petro-chemical and pulp and paper industries by providing regulatory guidance and defending enforcement actions. She has served as defense counsel in complex international litigation involving environmental legacy suits and also has experience representing clients in contested oil unitization proceedings.
