Bio:My life has taught me that to get what you want, you have to fight. I grew up in a small town in Louisiana, and although my family was poor as church mice, I grew rich in grit, determined to fight for a better future. I got my first job at 15, moved into my own apartment at 16, and worked full-time to support myself through high school, college, and law school. It was extremely hard and sometimes I wished that things were easier. But such struggling taught me that to get what you want - you have to be willing to out-work and out-fight everyone else. And this is the same attitude and approach that I believe everyone deserves. First-hand experience has taught me that so many people are working just as hard as I did to make a better life for themselves and their families. That's why I've never worked for the State as a prosecutor whose only job is to put people in jail. I've defended people accused of all kinds of criminal conduct from complex organized crime cases to simple marijuana possession. I've defended clients charged with DWI, drug charges, theft and burglary, violent crimes like assault, and retaliation, and white-collar offenses. So before you talk to the police or anyone else, call me to discuss your case.
