Bio:In March of 2017, I moved with my family to Bend, Oregon to practice law. Previously I owned and operated a small town general practice in Burns, Oregon for over six years. Making the decision to abandon a successfull business was a difficult one, but it was for the benefit of my family and we are thrilled to be a part of Central Oregon. Prior to opening the Burns office, I had the honor of serving as a summer clerk to Chief Justice Paul J. De Muniz at the Oregon Supreme Court. Following my clerkship, I worked for approximately one year in Seattle, where I successfully represented low-income clients in tax matters against the Internal Revenue Service and then worked for a short time as an associate for Stahancyk, Kent & Hook. I attended college at Oregon State University (Go Beavs!), where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. I earned my law degree from the University of South Dakota in 2008, where I graduated among the top of my class. After passing the Oregon bar exam, I attended Washington State University School of Law, earning an advanced law degree in taxation, focusing primarily in the areas of business and estate taxation and tax controversy. I am pleased to serve the communities of Central Oregon and I look forward to the many benefits and advantages that this great place has to offer for my family.
