Mr. Seidner’s business model is based on taking advantage of the elderly through the manipulation of the law. I have the POA for my elderly father has full control of his mental facilities and was already declared NOT mentally incapacitated by the City of New York department of elderly affairs. My sibling, who is obviously mentally unstable, attempted to take over all my father’s assets and retained Mr. Seidner to have my father declared “Incapacitated”. Mr. Seidner cooked up a complaint accusing me of all kinds of criminal behavior including theft and mental abuse against my father which he knew were false would never have been proven in court. He never even checked out the facts. These accusations were defaming to me and my character. On the day of the hearing, Mr. Seidner suggested that it be dropped (because he knew these accusations and attacks on my reputation were nothing but blatant lies). In exchange, he wanted my father to agree to pay the legal fees for all the attorneys present, including his own. My father and I as his POA refused to agree to this. No one won in this waste of time and money except for himself by ensuring that he get his payday. He told the judge that my father “agreed” to assume all the legal fees, including his own. Mr. Seiner’s business model is based on taking advantage of the elderly by filing frivolous proceedings.
