Bio:Michael Stutman is a Partner and head of the Family Group in New York. He has more than thirty years of family law experience, handling both settlements and court trials. Michael was recently lead counsel in Desilva v. Desilva, in which a wife received 100% of marital property and Moore v. Moore, in which his client's personal injury claim against her husband and her right to use captured computer files were upheld. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers; Vice President and on the Board of Governors of the New York Chapter; and author of 'How to Divorce in New York', first published in 1993 by St Martin's Press. Since 2008 he has been certified as one of the Best Lawyers in America and has been listed in the annual Super Lawyers publications since its inception in 2006.
