Bio:Scott joined Pia Anderson Moss Hoyt on January 1, 2013 as Senior Litigation Counsel and has since become a partner. Prior to joining PAMH, Mr. Hoyt spent over 30 years as an associate and then partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, in their Los Angeles and Dallas offices. Most recently, Scott was a senior partner in the litigation department in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s Dallas office. Scott is licensed to practice law in Texas, California, and Utah. While his primary focus is complex insurance and reinsurance litigation, he also has considerable experience in technology, trademark and unfair competition, trade secrets, appellate litigation, construction and real estate disputes, fiduciary disputes, insurance coverage, non-competition covenants, professional malpractice, and the full range of commercial litigation for clients in high tech industries such as Telecom.
