After graduating from law school he accepted a commission as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and served in the Miami, Florida division until 1980, when he moved to Charleston and accepted a position as an Assistant Solicitor with the Ninth Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office and thereafter with the City of Charleston as the City Prosecutor. Armed with his experiences in law enforcement, trial and courtroom work, Mr. Kulp turned his skills to private practice, opening his law office in 1986. He has been zealously defending the rights of people accused of crimes ever since. His long and successful career has taken him to Courts throughout South Carolina, as well as Federal Courts in Atlanta and West Virginia.
