William Elliot I truly believe prays on the elderly with either no family or families with limited resources and experience with the legal system. I believe This man gets a tip from nursing facilities (bad apple nurses) that there is a candidate for his “services.” He then finds out family visiting Schedule and makes sure to arrive when they are not there. He talks with the elderly that are confused and disoriented and tells them that their family does not care about them and he should be there Poa (power of attorney). All in one afternoon visit, (literally met him one time) this man met my father, convinced him his kids, grandkids and wife don’t love him, told him to sign over his power of attorney for his finances and his health to him. I don’t believe my dad knew what was happening. He was very I’ll and confused. Then this man took 20,000 from my fathers bank account, on that same day! How? This was a joint account with my mom who is alive. There is no information in the court system, no petitions or anything, No explanations to anyone. Not even other counsel that has called seeking information on my behalf. By the way I am the daughter Mr. Elliott did not even know existed, a nurse at that. But he knew my dads best interest? My father fell very ill within 24 hours and is now intubated and can no longer speak for himself to say that this is not what he wanted. He was swindled . I know my dad he is a very good man and a very good daddy. I know that my father would not want to die alone. Right now my father is in an ICU slowly dying, with tubes down his throat , and none of his family is allowed to be near him. he’s allowed no visitors at all as a matter of fact. This lawyer (that cares so much about my dad) is saying it’s to protect him but he won’t show us any paperwork to prove that he has POA. The hospital is not the one keeping us away. The lawyer has told them he is poa and they have to listen. He won’t even explain to any family of my fathers what has gone on, why he’s here, what he’s scared of, how dad being alone held anything? Nothing. Hell if you want to strip search me and make me wear a straight jacket to be certain I am no danger I am happy to comply! If you want to restrain me in a chair 6 feet away from him, ok! I will do anything for my dad to not be alone and die. He deserves to be loved to his last moment. To hear the thank you for being a great daddy, papa or husband. How much he is loved and that we will be ok if he has to go. He worried so much about us all. He deserves to hear those things. Mr. Elliott, He actually scoffed at me when I asked if I could please just sit quietly next to my dad as he died so that he wouldn’t be alone . He said “he can’t hear you anyway what difference does it make. I’m surprise he made it tonight. I’m very busy dealing with this situation and I need this office so I need you to leave.” Wow. What he has done to my dad alone is something only God and Karma can make him understand is unforgivable. I strongly recommend staying away from this firm if he is in it!! And make sure he doesn’t visit your confused parents and convince them they are in danger from their loved ones! Please protect the people you love from his uninvited visit. Tell the nursing home no lawyer is to see your family ever without your knowledge and someone you trust needs to be witnessing what is said if a lawyer must come by. You can’t defend your self from being cut out on your dads dying day. I’ll fight him but dad may be gone before I win.
