While attending Texas Southern University, she was a member and served as President of the Christian Legal Society. She also participated in a mentorship program. After completing law school, Ms. Taylor worked for Monitronics International, Inc., as the Administrator of Consumer and Legal Affairs and in 2003 launched a solo legal practice. In 2004, Ms. Taylor received her Mediation Training Certificate. Ms. Taylor handles traffic tickets, family, immigration, and criminal law matters. She has been an attorney for 19 years.
