During her tenure as Mayor and Public Safety Director of the Columbus Consolidated Government, Teresa oversaw nearly 3,000 employees and a $275 million budget. She holds a National Security Secret Clearance with the U.S. Department of Defense due to her role as head of Homeland Security for Columbus and the southwest region of Georgia, and due to her work and coordination with the Ft. Benning Maneuver Center of Excellence.
