After graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School, Nicole graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she was also named to the National Dean’s List.Nicole attended the University of Miami, School of Law on a Deans Honor Scholarship earning her Juris Doctorate in 1994. Beginning her career as a Protective Services Attorney in Miami, Florida, she advocated for the rights of the abused, abandoned and neglected children. She then worked as an Assistant Attorney General handling Uniform Interstate Family Support matters for enforcement of Interstate Child Support matters. As a Guardian ad Litem Attorney, she handled dependency matters advocating for the best interest of dependent children.
