Bio: Judge Raymond A. Reddin is a Partner in our New Jersey office. He leads our mediation and arbitration practice and brings more than 40 years of legal experience to the firm.Ray retired as a New Jersey Superior Court Judge after having served on the bench for 16 years. During his tenure, he presided over many high-profile and complex cases for both criminal and civil matters including medical malpractice claims, employment matters and also homicide and sexual violent predator cases.In addition to conducting trials, Ray also served as an Election Day judge, oversaw Megan’s Law sex offender internet registries, performed civil commitments and issued gun permits.Since 2011, Ray has served as Chairman of the Robert L. Clifford Inn of Court, which is one of the largest American Inns of Court. He has often lectured on criminal and civil trial preparation and procedure, expert testimony and medical malpractice, and has served as moderator for numerous programs presented by various continuing legal education organizations. He also trained and has given lectures to newly assigned Superior Court judges on presiding over gang trials, jury selection, courthouse security and other related matters.Before becoming a judge, Ray served as attorney for the Passaic County Police Academy and the Totowa Board of Education.
