Bio:Richard A. Getty, Managing Member, was born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania on July 22, 1946. He was admitted to the Bar in Ohio in 1974 and in Kentucky in 1977. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and before the District of Columbia Circuit, as well as the District Courts for the Northern District of Ohio, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, Western District of Michigan and District of Colorado. Mr. Getty received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky (B.A. 1971) and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law (J.D. 1974). He was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, the Order of Barristers, and served on the staff of the Kentucky Law Journal (1972-1974) as a Candidacy Editor. He was a member of the National Moot Court Team (1973-1974) and served as the President of the Moot Court Board. Mr. Getty has taught numerous civil procedure and trial advocacy courses, including serving as a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
