Bio:Prior to founding King & Navins, with Messrs. John H. King and Peter L. Navins in 1983, Rusty was an associate at Nutter, McClennen & Fish and Sherburne, Powers & Needham (now Holland & Knight), downtown Boston law firms, concentrating in the area of residential and commercial real estate. That experience was followed by a stint in Newburyport, Massachusetts, with the firm of Beit, Stevens & Navins, where he gained exposure to civil and criminal litigation, corporate law, domestic relations and trusts and estates. For the last 25 years, as a principal of King & Navins, and as a partner with Haussermann, Davison & Shattuck, a mid-size downtown Boston law firm, Rusty has limited his practice to the area of trusts and estates. He is a former Trustee of Walnut Hill School in Natick, Massachusetts and a former member of the Permanent School Accommodations Committee in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
