Bio:Robert N. Dunn joined the firm in 2008 of counsel. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1968 with a Bachelors Degree in Humanities. After graduation he joined the Aircraft Carrier USS INTREPID as a Division Officer. He served on the INTREPID for two years until being assigned to United States Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island as an instructor of Naval Tactics and Ship Handling. After being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1971, Robert attended law school at Michigan State University College of Law. He graduated from Law School in 1974 and was awarded an LL.M. in Labor Law from Wayne State University Law School in 1983. Robert has specialized in Maritime and Admiralty litigation since his admission to the bar in 1974. He has handled cases in five United States District Courts, various state courts, and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth and Second Circuits. He has handled cases involving personal injury to Jones Act Seamen and passengers, loss of life, navigation, collisions and groundings, recreational boats, cargo damage, salvage, and cases in other areas of Maritime Law. He is admitted to the practice of law in New York, Illinois, Michigan, and Colorado as well as numerous federal courts.
