My friend and I were caught "shoplifting" (the item we wanted was sold out so we swapped the sample into a new box and tried to purchase the sample) at the tri-cities mall. Fearing the worst as we were about to graduate college, we found Ryan and he made it sound like he would get us completely off the hook and that he would walk us through the entire process. He asked us to each pay $2000 as a retainer but we worked it out with him to just bring $1000 cash each, which was paid at our second meeting with him. Now for two young minority college girls, this was pretty much ALL our savings which Ryan took - he had promised to get this off our records and he did NOT, he even went to such lengths as to block our numbers to avoid having to do what he said and we were so shocked and surprised that a lawyer could do this to us. Stay AWAY for two reasons- a) we found out that no one else paid for a lawyer which he said we absolutely needed and could face jailtime without it and b) that their court appointed lawyer did more for them than Ryan did for us. He knows who we are so if he would like this to be removed, he can reach out and complete his end of our agreement and file for expungement. Best of luck!
