At one time, Bristol-Myers Squibb had one of the world’s largest trademark portfolios which included such marks as; CLAIROL, EXCEDRIN, WINDEX, TAXOL, BUFFERIN, ENFIMIL, and others.In his corporate positions he was responsible for clearing major trademarks for the corporations; he also supervised major litigation, enforcing and defending trademark rights of the corporation, including Internet issues. He was involved with many corporate acquisitions which involved trademark and copyright due diligence. He supervised foreign subsidiary intellectual property activity ( BMS-UPSA Pharmaceutical, France) as well as international trademark filings for the domestic companies.He prepared trademark license agreements as well as celebrity endorsement agreements.
