He received his B.A. from the University of California in Santa Barbara in 1974, an M.P.H. in hospital administration from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1977, and his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1986. During the seven year period prior to beginning law school in 1983, Mr. Sayler worked in both the nonprofit and for-profit acute care hospital sector in various administrative capacities from assistant administrator to executive director. From 1986 to the present, Mr. Sayler has worked on a wide variety of litigation matters, and has tried and arbitrated numerous cases.
