Bio: Thomas J. Belitza, Esquire, recently joined the Musulin Law Firm in 2013 after completing a one-year clerkship with the Honorable Benjamin C. Telsey, P.J.F.P., the presiding family law judge of Cumberland, Salem and Gloucester counties. During his judicial clerkship, he assisted his judge in drafting decisions in cases of divorce, child support, spousal support, abuse/neglect, juvenile delinquency, and in managing the matrimonial court calendar for the Family Division of Salem County. While working for the Superior Court, Mr. Belitza also served as a mediator. After Mr. Belitza joined our law firm, it was obvious that he had spent many hours, while working for the Superior Court, performing research and analysis of case law, offering his findings to the matters being reviewed by his judge. He presently applies his research skills and legal analysis on a daily basis at Musulin Law Firm. Mr. Belitza acquired his Juris Doctor from the Rutgers School of Law - Camden. While at Rutgers, he earned the Pro Bono Award for having volunteered 80 hours of legal aid to indigent clients by representing them in family law matters under the NJ Student Practice Rule. Also, during law school, he was a student advocate for the Federal Prisoner Re-Entry Program.
