Bio:For over thirty years I’ve provided legal navigation for my clients. I believe that most people seeking counsel need practical and economical guidance. I take an expansive view of each case and look for creative solutions.  Many of my cases involve family, employment or business issues. Rather than simply describing myself as a ‘family lawyer’ or a ‘business lawyer’, my focus is trial law. When litigation is the option to be pursued, I work to effectively and ethically present seemingly complex matters to judges and juries.  A large number of my clients have been referred to me by other attorneys. Many of these cases involve novel financial, scientific or technical issues that other attorneys find outside their practice area.  Because my work is not limited to one type of case, I find that my clients benefit from the broad training and experience I have acquired by litigating a wide variety of matters. Oftentimes, matters that appear to be centered on one issue involve other less obvious issues. One child custody case was reversed on appeal after it was established that the judge violated a client’s Constitutional rights. In another case, a drug testing order was successfully challenged when the testing methodology was deemed scientifically invalid. In another matter, evidence introduced in one trial led to the discovery that a client’s email had been illegally intercepted implicating the defendant and his attorney in a subsequent federal court wiretapping proceedin
