Mr. Maris has comprehensive knowledge of the courts and judges in Northern Texas, derived from more than three decades of practice in federal and state courts. While vigorously advocating his clients' interests in all litigation, he first seeks alternative means to resolve civil and commercial disputes in his client's favor, such as arbitration, contract negotiations, renegotiations, work-out arrangements and mediation before going to trial. He emphasizes efficient and careful case development, which avoids unnecessary costs and disruption to the client's ongoing business activities. Mr. Maris believes that any case worth trying is worth trying well, which his trial record demonstrates.
